This journey takes you through some of the most impressive scenery in Ha Giang, including mountain passes, deep valleys, ethnic minority villages, and the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass. You will also have the opportunity to stay in local homestays, enjoy traditional meals, and experience the friendly atmosphere of the Ha Giang Loop.
Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang by Bus (300 km)
The journey from Hanoi to Ha Giang takes approximately 6–7 hours. We recommend arriving in Ha Giang one day before the Ha Giang Loop tour begins so you can have a good night’s rest before starting the adventure.
Bus departure options from Hanoi: 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, or 10:00 PM.
Upon arrival in Ha Giang, check in and relax at the hostel.

Day 2: Ha Giang – Yen Minh (90 km)
After breakfast, your Ha Giang Loop adventure officially begins.

10:00 AM: Start the Ha Giang Loop tour from Ha Giang Hostel
01:00 PM: Lunch in Tam Son Town

Continue the journey through the beautiful mountain landscapes of Ha Giang before arriving in Yen Minh.
05:30 PM: Check in at the local homestay in Yen Minh
07:00 PM: Enjoy a family-style dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available.
Evening: Relax and enjoy some free time with the group. You can join karaoke, play card games, and experience the local tradition of enjoying “happy water.”

Day 3: Yen Minh – Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac
After breakfast, continue your adventure toward Dong Van and Meo Vac, passing through some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in Northern Vietnam.

09:00 AM: Depart for Meo Vac

After lunch, continue riding through the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most impressive mountain passes in Vietnam.
Enjoy the breathtaking views from the Ma Pi Leng Sky Walk and visit the Tu San Canyon viewpoint, where you can admire the dramatic mountains and deep canyon below.
05:30 PM: Check in at the homestay in Meo Vac
07:00 PM: Enjoy a traditional family-style dinner.
Overnight: Local homestay in Meo Vac
Day 4: Meo Vac – Ha Giang (145 km)
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Ha Giang.
08:00 AM: Breakfast
09:00 AM: Depart for Ha Giang

12:30 PM: Lunch in Mau Due
Continue the journey through the mountains and valleys before returning to Ha Giang.
05:30 PM: Arrive back at Ha Giang Hostel and finish your Ha Giang Loop adventure.
Overnight: Ha Giang City
Optional: If you would like to return to Hanoi the same evening, you can take a night bus from Ha Giang.
Day 5: Ha Giang – Hanoi by Bus (300 km)
After breakfast and some free time in Ha Giang, take the bus back to Hanoi.
10:00 AM: Depart Ha Giang by bus for Hanoi.
The journey takes approximately 6–7 hours, and you are expected to arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon or early evening.
